The Los Angeles home that hosted the second-season cast of Playboy TV’s “Swing” – and later the Season 11 “American Idol” contestants – and later a fitness retreat called Destination Fit4LA – just hit the market for $11.9 million. It’s the ultimate party house, with three bars, a disco hall (complete with DJ booth), a movie theater with a 160-inch screen, a pool table and ping pong table, and an 80 foot-long pool with a blue glass tile rendition of the Hollywood sign.
The home spans 16,000 square feet and has 18 bathrooms and 10 bedrooms, including two master suites with large closets. There’s a fully equipped gym, floating glass staircase, and an elevator. The floor-to-ceiling windows were built to take advantage of the L.A. skyline view. The owners are selling it fully furnished – including a not-to-be-missed bed with blue lights that glow underneath it. The mansion was built in 2011 and first hit the market Dec. 7, 2011, for $8.9 million. It was delisted about eight months later on July 26, 2012, and then relisted April 15, 2013, by Valerie Fitzgerald, Coldwell Banker-BH North. The home is one of four brand new homes that are side by side; all can be purchased as a compound for $34.6 million dollars.
The “Swing” trailer is entirely NSFW, so we’ll let you use your imagination regarding what they were up to while filming in the home. As far as the much more family-friendly “American Idol,” the season 11 top nine singers — Jessica, Colton, Phillip, Hollie, Elise, Skylar, Joshua, DeAndre, and Heejun – spent the last of their competition days in the mansion. Unfortunately for Heejun those days were short; he was cut from the show shortly after moving in. When “American Idol” was done filming, Destination Fit4LA took over the home, turning it into a fitness retreat that charged $5,300 a week.
